Note the calendar. 21 November occurs on a Monday only in 1892, 1898, 1904 and 1910. Note that the several phones sit on a leveling portion of the desk. Immediately below the phones is a line of electrical buttons and a toggle or pressure switch. The “swing out” stool can just be seen. The man seated at the roll top desk is wearing a uniform of some type with his jacket unbloused, the stripe down the leg is clear. The officer standing in the door is assigned to mounted duty.
