Photo crop exposure date: unknown.Exposure date (or window) of subject photo: 1890-1892Subject: An excellent quality view of the City Jail, Police Station and Recorders Court compound. Taken from the west side of Military Plaza looking east north east. Two of the three walls can be seen in their entirety, revealing that the foundations were indeed rubble stone. The photograph was taken after completion of the Elmendorf building (1890) and before the completion of the new City Hall (1892). The Jacob Dullnig building at the Northeast corner of the plaza has been razed.1
