Photo crop exposure date: unknown. Exposure date (or window) of subject photo: 1890-1893. Subject: Photo crop of north side of Alamo Plaza. View is north showing “Chili Queen” benches clustered around what appears to be the plaza fountain (1903-1910) just west of the Hugo & Schmeltzer Building (1877). Maverick Bank Building (1884) at left with US Post Office and Courthouse (1890) in center background. However, if the fountain is present, the R.A. Arthur building (1893) must also be present and perhaps simply cannot be seen north of the Post Office.
