Only the Dreiss (1877) or Gallagher (1877) buildings would have provided the elevation necessary for this photograph. The San Antonio Police Station (the two doors) in the south side of the Alamo Chapel are present (will begin use in 1883). A Resolution to remove the market house passed in February 1882.
