AlamoplzaFolder-SAalamochapelPostUSArmy.jpg
Photo crop exposure date: unknown. Exposure date (or window) of subject photo: ca. 1850-1877. Subject: Outstanding photo crop of Alamo Chapel and the cart station in front of chapel used for accounting for carts and loads. View is ENE. Taken from a point in the plaza. City was charging 50 cents a cartload for rubble and stone from the outer convento walls and the ruins known as the Galera. The wheel and drag marks can clearly be seen approaching and leaving the station and its parameters between the four large stones. The widest exposure window is framed by the roof campanulate on the chapel and the Grenet purchase in 1877.
