Taken from Blum Street intersection. Alamo Drug Store/Dreiss building (1877) is in foreground with the Joske Brothers (the company moved from Austin Street location and was renamed Joske Bros. in 1883) apparently doing business at that location (will move across street in 1887-88 and leave building vacant). The towered Dullnig building (1883) can be seen at the corner of Alamo and Commerce.
