Exposure date (or window) of subject photo: ca. 1873.
Subject: Photo crop of Main Plaza. The view is NNW showing the northwest corner of the plaza. The east elevation of Carl Elmendorf’s hardware store is prominent. The placement of buildings would indicate a date close to the 1873 Birdseye map and could not have been taken as late as 1877. It is very likely that this exposure and #23 were done very close together in time.
