View is east from sidewalk in front of the Crockett Block (1882), showing a Christmas Tree on the south end of the traffic island and automobiles. The Hugo & Schmeltzer Building (1877) has been razed (1912). There are only cloth top vehicles in evidence. Print carries an ascription “PROPERTY OF THE DRT LIBRARY”
