Very clear depiction of what is believed to be the city cart station. After purchase of the Galeria ruins (1871) the city was charging 50 cents a cartload for rubble stone from the old buildings. Slightly enhanced crop of "photo #72". View is ENE from plaza. Prior to Grenet Building (1877).
